He joined Harmony as a geologist in April 1996 and has gained experience in various leadership roles at the operations before being appointed to the executive committee in April 2004. He has served in several executive positions, including being responsible for new business and projects as well as mineral resources and reserves. Jaco has 29 years’ experience in the mining industry and is a member of the Southern African Institute for Mining and Metallurgy, the Geological Society of South Africa and the Australian Institute for Mining and Metallurgy.
