GENERAL

Harmony is a gold producer, operating in South Africa and Papua New Guinea. Its registered offices are in the Republic of South Africa. Our primary listing is on the JSE Securities Exchange Johannesburg where we trade under the symbol “HAR”.

Harmony is also listed on the NYSE where we trade under ticker code “HMY”. BOGUS EMAIL SCAMS

We are aware that unfortunately the name of Harmony is being misused by other parties or persons for illegitimate purposes. In particular we know of a number of bogus e-mails sent to individuals all over the world, which claim to be from Harmony or individuals claiming to be from Harmony.

These communications predominantly take the form of an e-mail that indicates that the sender of the e-mail has control over a substantial sum of money in Harmony bank accounts, and continues to ask the recipient for personal banking information.

Please be aware that these communications are not genuine. They are not from Harmony, and are part of a scam where our name is used illegally and without authorisation. We do not and will never send out unsolicited emails asking for money or personal details. Harmony also distance ourselves from any website not specifically mentioned on this website.

Should you receive a communication of this type, please DO NOT, under any circumstances, provide your personal details to the originator. We strongly recommend that you report it to PO Box 2, Randfontein, 1760, South Africa or email ISServicesHub@Harmony.co.za and that you do not respond to it or communicate further with the person who sent the email to you.
