Public notification: Application for major amendment to Environmental Authority for Eva Copper Mine Project

The amendment application seeks to update EPML00899613 to align with changes to the Life of Mine Plan, based on the Project’s updated Feasibility Study. Key amendments include an extended mine life, increased extraction and processing capacities, expanded disturbance footprint, additional Environmentally Relevant Activities, revised water management systems, and updated water supply sources and demand.

The amendment application is open for public comment from Thursday 5 February 2026 to Friday 6 March 2026  (inclusive – Queensland time). During this period, any person may make a submission about the application.

  • written or made electronically
  • received on or before 16:30 (4.30pm) Friday 6 March 2026 Queensland time
  • include your name and address
  • state the grounds of your submission.

Submissions may be made using the Submission form: Application or amendment application for an environmental authority / Progressive Rehabilitation and Closure Plan (PRCP) / or PRCP schedule (ESR/2015/1617).
