Moab Khotsong, which began production in 2003, is the youngest of our high-grade, deep-level South African gold mines. Three vertical shaft systems service three mining areas – the top mine (Great Noligwa), the middle mine, and the lower mine (Zaaiplaats growth project, which is currently in development). The primary orebody exploited is the Vaal Reef with mined ore being processed at the Noligwa gold plant.
